Abstract:
     The characteristic of this process is using ammonium bicarbonate and sodium chloride as raw materials, and adding to the reaction liquor an intermediate salt, which promotes the separation of sodium bicarbonate and ammonium chloride at normal temp. and press. This method both eliminates entirely the large and complicated equipment used in existing technology, and breaks through the technical difficulties of separating granulated sodium bicarbonate and obtaining high quality ammonium chloride in practice. For simplification of existing technique, for increasing productivity of sodium carbonate and high purity ammonium chloride, this new method has opened up a new way for middle or small plants where abundant ammonium bicarbonate can be used.
