Abstract:
     This invention describes a method of drawing out cyanogen ion from engine ashes containing potassium, the aim is that when white cement is produced by blast furnace method with potassium feldspar as raw material, and sylvite is collected from the side-product, i. e. engine ashes, the CN cyanogen ion is drawn out, so as to improve product, quality and reduce environmental pollution. The feature is that before the engine ashes dissolve in water, calcining it to oxidizing cyanide, then reoxidizing it by adding oxidizer while they are dissolving in water so as to draw out CN cyanogen ion. The invention can draw out more than 99.9 percent of CN cyanogen ion from engine ashes containing potassium.
