Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a method for making sodium carbonate from natural mineral sodium bicarbonate. It consists of following steps:(a)subjecting aqueous caustic to contact with underground sodium bicarbonate deposite to obtain aqueous solution; (b) drawing at least a portion of resultant aqueous solution from mineral deposite; (c) thickening the drawn aqueous solution selectively by sodium earbonate; (d) subjecting the said aqueous solution to be filtrated selectively to remove impurity; (e) continously crystallizing the sodium carbonate hydrate by evaparation of water to obtain a crystal slurry; (f) taking a portion of crystal slurry out of crystallization process and separating the crystal sodium carbonate hydrate from slurry by centrifuging, and drying the obtained sodium carbonate hydrate.
