Abstract:
     This invention relates to a method in which gas contained nitrogen oxide being able to be absorbed in the Na2CO3 or NaOH alkaline solution is used to make NaNO2. The gas contained nitropen oxide is fed into the absorber at temp. of 300-400 deg.C and the amount of oxygen is adjusted by adding air. By virtue of adjusting the flow rate of cooling and cycling alkaline solution in the absorber, the temp. of each absorption zone can be controlled to the same level, i.e. to form an isothermal absorption, thus the formation of NaNO3 can be decreased during absorption. In the course of deliverying the said alkaline solution, it is possible to raise the yield of NaNO2, and to decrease the yield of NaNO3 correspondingly.
