Abstract:
     This invention uses sodium bicarbonate and ammonium nitrats as reactants to produce Na-nitrate by heating. The by-products, ammonia and carbon dioxide, are recovered and reused. The production cost of this method is comparable to that of absorption method, and is more advantageous in having high yield, low energy consumption and less corrosive. Furthermore, Na-nitrate product by this method does not contain poisonous Na-nitrite. The product can be used as industrial raw material or agricultural fertilizer.
