Abstract:
     This invention is about production technique of sodium nitrate. The ore of calcium carbonate (specially calcite) with high purity and some nitric acid are reacted. The product Ca(NO3)2 reacts with mirabilite (Na2SO4) in solution. The acid deposit is filtered and separated in acid condition and the basic deposit is filtered and separated in basic condition. The filtrate is concentrated and crystallized and the sodium nitrate is produced. The product possesses high purity, the gypsum used as coating can be obtained in same reaction. The rate of recovery is 95%.
