| This invention relates to a process of production of soft potassium-magnesium alum. Soft potassium-magnesium alum is the raw material for producing high quality chlorine-free potash fertilizer-potassium sulfate. In this invention, carnallitite, potassium chloride and salt cake are mixed according to their molar ratio in phase diagram. The soft potassium-magnesium alum is then prepared through solid phase reaction. The reaction equation is: 2Na2SO4.10H2O KCl.MgCl2.6H2O KCl=K2SO4.MgSO4.6H2O 4NaCl 20H2O. By this invention, the process is simplified white the energy consumption is reduced, production cost is lowered, and efficiency of production is increased. | |||
