Abstract:
     In this invention, sea water is concentrated by sunshine until having a Baume degree of more than 22. Lime and sodium carbonate are added in the sea water to deposit Mg and Ca out, and ammonium bicarbonate is then added to conduct double decomposition for obtaining sodium carbonate. Finally, calcium hydroxide is added for causticization, and the caustic soda is obtained. It features simple technology and low investment for apparatus.
