Abstract:
     In this invention, the bittern under-or above-ground is mainly used, and lime and soda ash are first added for separating Ca and Mg ions out by deposition. Then, the residue is heated to the temp of 30-50 deg.C, and ammonium bicarbonate is added to conduct a double decomposition reaction between bittern and ammonium bicarbonate for obtaining sodium bicarbonate, which is then calcined for obtaining soda ash as well as such by-product as ammonium chloride or ammonium sulfate. The invention features direct use of bittern, low investment in apparatus, simple technology, low cost and fast effect.
