| The present invention is a partial improvement of synthetic ammonia process. It uses a plate tower instead of three packed towers for transferring heat to semi-water gas and converter gas. The hot water used for ractification and regeneration is drawn after the first water heater with water flowrate controlled by a regulating valve. The hot water after temperature drop in rectification is sent to the middle part of the saturation section for heating and moistening semi-water gas, thus achieving classified utilization of heat energy. The process of the present invention has 2/3 less investment than traditional process, more than 50% less power consumption and 0.03-0.05 MPa less system resistance. | |||
