Abstract:
     The present invention belongs to a method for producing ammonium sulfate by using waste ammonia water. It is characterized by that a catalyst is added in the waste ammonia water, under the condition of heating, the ammonia is vaporized from the waste ammonia water, and directly neutralized with sulphuric acid to produce crystalline ammonium sulfate, then the obtained crystalline ammonium sulfate is centrifugally dried so as to obtain the invented finished product ammonium sulfate. Said invented technological process is simple, has no need of specific equipment and evaporation and distillation procedures, can save energy by above 50%, and ammonia recovery can be up to above 95%.
