Abstract:
     The present invention is one simple and efficient method of separating taurine from sodium sulfate. The present invention features that taurine is separated from the solid mixture of taurine and sodium sulfate with ionic liquid leaching agent comprising nitrogen heterocyclics alkyl pyridine or 1,3-dialkyl midazole cation and inorganic or organic anion and separation agent of polar inorganic solvent and through a two-step process. Compared with traditional re-crystallization process in water solution and electric dialysis process, the present invention has the features of fast separating speed, relatively lower operation temperature, high taurine purity, reusable ionic liquid and polar organic solvent and thus excellent industrial application foreground.
