Abstract:
     A universal corn cob picking-up apparatus for the corn harvester features that a vest-style protecting plate for picking up the corn cobs is installed before the tension roller in order to prevent the corn cobs from being damaged and the strip off parts of peels. The roller and its jacket are installed to said protecting plate for making the stalks through it smoothly without breaking and blocking. Said protecting plate is composed of multiple protecting subplates.
