Abstract:
     The man-powered hob type lawn mower consists of walking wheels, support, handlebar and mowing mechanism connected to form a frame. Each of the walking wheels has gear in its inner side; and the mowing mechanism consists of hob and fixed cutter. The shaft for the hob is set on the support and has small gears on two ends and meshed separately with the inner gears of the walking wheels to form planetary wheel train. The fixed cutter is fixed on the support and has edge contacting with that of the hob. The man-powered hob type lawn mower is light and simple in operation, and has no vibration noise, no pollution to air and no tear no lawn.
