Abstract:
    This music box comprises a number of modular elements (1 to 16) that are mountable and insertable without screws between two half-frames (1) enclosed in two half-boxes (15); the reeds (15), created for each note and embedded in housings (1m, 1n), are raised by lift cams (7a), themselves created by being pushed from within the one or two cylinder(s) (7) containing drums and main springs (4); the wind-up mechanism (8) and optional external power connections (9) and the flywheels (14) placed along the axis (II-II) of the forward (AV) and rear (AR) planes react to the centrifugal effect of the rotation and allow for linear musical pace and tempo.
