Abstract:
    To obtain a manual lever mechanism for a music box which is free of noise generated between a ratchet and a pawl at the time of a return from a pressing-motion position. An interlocking arm 48 is restrained by friction in initial rotation of the manual lever and pressed in a square hole with which the operation lever of a pawl part supported with the interlocking arm engages and a feed pawl is swiveled to the position where it engages with the ratchet or the separation position where it completely leaves the ratchet. When a rotary drum is rotated in the sounding direction, the feed pawl is swiveled to the position of engagement with the ratchet in the beginning of the rotation of the manual lever and swiveled to the separation position in the beginning of return rotation.
