Abstract:
     The musical box has a roll with pins on outer surface, a drive shaft to rotate the roll, a vibrating plate with vibrating valves for the pins to pluck and a frame to fix the vibrating plate and support the roll and the drive shaft for them to rotate flexibly. It features two end plates embedded at ends of the roll and one transmission shaft penetrating the end plates. The ends of the transmission shaft act as two output parts and one output shaft, which is meshed with gears in the end plate and is made to rotate in the direction perpendicular to that of the roll, acts as one third output part. The three output parts cooperate with vibrating valves to produce music and the music box may also act as one drive source to produce some excellent visual effect.
