Abstract:
     The mechanical music box consists of support, music sheet comprising several keys, toggling gears corresponding the keys separately and with teeth set in the same interval, the first driving unit to drive one of the toggling gear to turn by one small angle each time based on the music in playing, and the second driving unit to drive the toggling gear to turn by one tooth pitch for the tooth to toggle corresponding key to sound. The mechanical music box of the present invention has its perforated music tape or perforated music disc not to toggle the toggling gears directly, and this reduces greatly the area each tone occupies and increases the number of music stored in the perforated music tape or perforated music disc.
