Abstract:
     The invention provides a pad for an electronic drum which has three characteristics of silence, durability, and a strike feeling improved at the same time, and an electronic drum equipped with the same. The pad comprises a main body part 61 made of a macromolecular elastic material such as rubber and thermoplastic elastomer and a surface layer part 62 which is joined with the main body part 61 to cover the main body 61, the surface layer part 62 being made of a macromolecular material of 0.5 to 20 GPa in elasticity modulus. The thickness of the surface layer part 62 may be 0.05 to 1mm. The surface layer part 62 may be formed of one or more layers. Further, the surface layer part 62 is formed preferably by bonding or fusing a film, a sheet, fabric, or web made of the macromolecular material, applying paint made of a macromolecular material, or performing dichroic molding or insert molding using a macromolecular material.
