Abstract:
    A bamboo/FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) composite flute with eleven rotary combined holes is provided. The flute adopts natural bamboo and FRP as materials to maintain timbre of natural bamboo flute while enable fine processing. Five standby finger holes are added to the structure of the flute so as for the flute to possess twelve notes of twelve-note system; an inner pipe is disposed at finger hole section and provided with long sound hole. Each primary note hole section of outer pipe is cut into a small section; a semi note hole is formed beside each primary note hole; and a socket is disposed at flute tail section to be connected with the inner pipe. Each section of the flute is rotary to enable selection of primary note hole or standby note hole on demand. The flute has advantages of possessing complete twelve notes, avoiding cross fingering and semi-hole fingering during inflexion, and being easier to learn to play.
