Abstract:
    A top cover structure of keyboard musical instrument (such as grand piano) having a pair of top cover rear and top cover fore, two top covers are arranged closing each other on a tank, and having a gap between thereof. A sliding skid is used for enlarging gap between the top cover rear and top cover fore, if necessary the top cover rear and top cover fore can move along the sliding skid, wherein only when the top cover fore is on position of the enlarged gap, the top cover rear is allowed open. Thereby, user can grasp free end of the top cover rear to open/close the top cover easily by fingers. Thus, can prevent fingers of the performer clamping in the gap when open and/or close the top cover.
