Abstract:
     A display device is provided for being able to prevent the fluctuation of the brightness/grey scale character between the on and off status of the light source, wherein the liquid crystal display device comprises a back light 1, and a control circuit 2 for controlling the voltage applied to the liquid crystal 51a that composes the display pixel 51 while responding to the on and off status of the back light 1. Further, while inspects the on and off status of the back light 1, the control circuit 2 outputs either the data for white standard voltage and data for black standard voltage responded to the on status of the back light 1 or the data for white standard voltage and data for black standard voltage responded to the off status of the back light 1 in accordance with the on and off status of the back light 1.
