Abstract: |
|||
| The simulated terrestrial globe is a globe model including two concentric balls, i.e., inner rotating around the earth's axis and outer ball combined by two-color hemispheres. The outer ball rotates around the terminator and it has on its surface cursor connected to revolution driving arm. A red sun model has an orbit plate at 66.5 deg angle to support between two hemispheres and there are driving devices separately in the centers of the inner ball and the orbit plate. The present invention can simulate the rotation and revolution of the earth in the equatorial coordinate system, the existence of ecliptic plane a equatorial plane, the Spring Equinox and the Autumnal Equinox and other natural phenomena with certain demonstration and teaching effect. | |||
