    A system has a portable apparatus (8) which stores personal information and a terminal apparatus (4) which supplies the portable apparatus (8) with information. Through communications with the portable apparatus (8), the terminal apparatus (4) which is arranged in a facility reads out the personal information stored in the portable apparatus (8), and sends the portable apparatus (8) information on installations available to a user in the facility. When the terminal apparatus (4) is arranged at a ticket gate of a railway station, the terminal apparatus (4) sends information on facilities available in the station to the portable apparatus (8) which serves as a ticket, while the user is passing through the ticket gate.
