Abstract:
    The present invention relates to a system for placing a subject into virtual reality, wherein said system includes an enclosed spherical envelope which defines a real space and is mounted on stands so as to be capable of rotation about its own centre. This envelope comprises at least one hatch with a lid for the subject to climb in or out of said envelope. This system also includes a device for generating a virtual space, as well as a device for displaying said virtual space to the user which is connected to the generation device. The system further includes a unit for modifying the virtual reality according to the physical displacements of the user within the envelope, wherein said unit is connected to a device for measuring the values and directions of the user
