| The invention relates to a speed and relative position real time measuring system and method for the vehicles on highway. The system contains passive response device that contains unique radio frequency identification code that could show the location of itself, reader that is set on vehicle to send active signal and receive radio frequency information and take data exchange with server through wireless communication network, server that receives the radio frequency and takes analysis and process to gain the real time information and sends back to reader. The method also relates to the method to test the speed and relative position on highway by the device. It has the advantages of high accuracy and low cost, and needs not to be maintained. | |||
