Abstract:
    The invention discloses a liquid level measuring apparatus and method in volatile variable density medium. The liquid level measuring apparatus includes tank top pressure testing point, tank intermediate liquidoid tapping point, tank bottom pressure testing point, main insulating pipe, lossless power consumption wireless transmission unit, the first differential gage, the second differential gage, PTC heating unit, temperature sensor. The invention supplies a dual-differential gage differential gage which eliminates the liquid level measuring error aroused by density fluctuations of medium to be measured; brings forward the method of main insulating pipe which eliminates the measuring error aroused by static pressure uncertainty of negative-phase pressure transmitting pipe; the lossless power consumption wireless transmission unit is powered by lithium cell, communicates with supervisor based on the ZigBee protocol(IEEE82.15.4), wireless transmission unit can realize the acquisition and processing of differential pressure signal and temperature of the main insulating pipe and the control of the PTC heating unit which is applied externally on the main insulating pipe. The battery supply and lossless power consumption wireless transmission unit makes the wiring workload of liquid level measuring apparatus reduce greatly and improve the reliability at the same time.
