Abstract:
    In the automatic transaction system, a host computer (3) comprises a customer database (4), in association with account information of the customer, an accumulation point which is updated upon receipt of an instruction from the automatic transaction device (1) in which unnecessity of a specification slip printing the content of the transaction by the customer is selected. A point processing part of the automatic transaction device (1) receives the accumulation point extracted by retrieval of the customer database (4) by the host computer (3) based on the account information received from the automatic transaction device (1), subtracts a point corresponding to a reduction in transaction charge selected by the customer from the accumulation point, and transmits a telegram reporting the point after substraction and a transaction telegram containing information of reducing the transaction charge to the host computer (3). The host computer (3) updates the accumulation point of the customer and permits the transaction with the reduced transaction charge.
