Abstract:
    In a paper money input and output device and, along with these units being arranged in parallel so that the thickness direction of the paper money which they receive is in the same direction, wherein these units are: a bill receiving part 15 in which a bill is thrown, a bill paying part 16 for ejecting a bill from the machine to the outside, a plurality of reflux cabinets 20 to 22 for storing bills and paying the stored bills to the bill paying part 16, a collection cabinet 17 capable of storing bills from the bill receiving part 15 or the plurality of reflux cabinets 20 to 22, a bill payment rejection cabinet 18 for storing bills subjected to payment rejection among bills paid from the reflux cabinets 20 to 22. Only on one side perpendicular to the direction in which the bill receiving part 15, the bill paying part 16, the collection cabinet 17, the bill payment rejection cabinet 18 and the reflux cabinets 20 to 22 are provided side by side, a transporting part 37 for connecting them is provided.
