Abstract:
    A paper sheet processing apparatus has an inspection unit which optically detects paper sheets. The inspection unit has a plurality of image sensing units (21 to 23) and a signal processing unit (30). A sensing CPU (20) of the signal processing unit (30) detects image data of paper sheets via the image sensing units (21 to 23), reads a correction coefficient stored in advance for each type of paper sheets in a memory (200), and discriminates the paper sheets on the basis of the image data detected by using the correction coefficient.
