Abstract:
    Provided is a gate system that enables accurate and quick processing at reduced cost. When a user P passes through a gate (10), in an area A, only the processing is performed of reading identification information and ticket examination information from a wireless terminal (40) and determining whether to permit the passage according to the ticket examination information. If the passage is permitted, the identification information on the wireless terminal (40) and update ticket examination information are associated and stored in a server (30). After the user P passes through the gate (10), in an area B, the identification information is read from the wireless terminal (40), and on condition that the identification information read matches the identification information stored in the server (30), the update ticket examination information corresponding to the identification information is written to the wireless terminal (40) to update the ticket examination information in the wireless terminal (40).
