Abstract:
    The invention belongs to the automatic measurement technology field, and relates to an infrared electro-optical guest flow statistics apparatus that includes the infrared electro-optical emitter array and the electro-optical receiver array, control/determination unit, there is corresponding relationship between two arrays of emitter and receiver; the control/determination unit consists of microprocessor and peripheral circuit to control the infrared electro-optical emitter array to emit signal, and process the signal gathered by the electro-optical receiver array, distinguish people and body according to the body stand algorithm, judge the people pass or not, and judge the pass direction according to the sequence of electro-optical receiving array receives the infrared ray; when several people pass at the same time, judge the number of people; the body stand algorithm includes consecutively the head decision and body decision. The invention provides a guest flow statistics method used by the device. The guest flow statistics device and method provided by the invention has advantages of low price, high accuracy, low misidentification rate and good real time.
