Abstract:
    A method for converting image format includes making statistics on a frame of image separately according to pixel value of R, G and B component at pixel point and storing pixel point information corresponding to each R, G and B pixel value then converting RGB format image to be format image based on pixel value statistics. The image processing system used for realizing said method is also disclosed.
