Abstract:
    The invention relates to a method for correctly mapping positions of two medicinal image data sets (2a, 2b) of an object, comprising, a) selecting at least two sub-areas (34a-34c) with respect to objects (4, 6) in each of the two image data sets (2a, 2b), b) determining local measurements (delta a, delta b, delta c, c) of the position deviation (d1, d2, alpha) of both the image data sets (2a, 2b) in each sub-area (34a-34c), c) shifting both of the image data sets (2a, 2b) to each other fixedly in the sub-areas (34a-34c) in which local measurements (delta a, delta b, delta c) exceed local thresholds (Ga, Gb, Gc).
