    The invention discloses an electronic monitoring device to prevent overcrowding of passenger vehicles, including vehicle-carrying host and signal input/output devices. The said vehicle-carrying host comprises power protection module, signal input collection module, signal handling module, astable multivibrator module, signal output module; the signal input module includes infrared radio probe, passenger complaints button switch. Each operating vehicle is installed the said device, and according to the input signal of the signal detection module, the host can identify and handle the signal, and when the aisle having passengers or passenger complaints, it blinking alarms, so the situation inside the vehicle can be known conveniently and intuitively in a relatively distant. The monitoring device can monitor vehicles democratized, automatically, all-weather, real-time, comprehensively and dynamically, to assist the traffic department to strengthen management of the tourism passenger vehicles operating order, and reduce the workload of traffic enforcement personnel, and reduce traffic accidents and national economic losses. And it has low cost, high reliability features.
