Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a method for producing font on the computer system and computer readable medium, and is characterized by that the attribute of one basic stroke contains at least two key dots and at least one width value to represent the stroke code. The computer processor picks a group of representative fonts defined by basic stroke set, and acknowledges a group of similar patterns on said group of fonts, and each pattern is formed from some strokes which are being in basic stroke set and overlap-combined. The processor can select one topological representive pattern from every acknowledged similar patern set, and uses it to define computing method of crossed points of overlapped basic strokes of said basic pattern so as to produce the curve value data of external shape of said basic pattern, and uses said data to implement display or storage of said font on the output instrument.
