Abstract:
     An image scanner is composed of shell, scan platform with smooth surface, guide element consisting of clamps at both sides of scan platform and moving in longitudinal direction of scan platform, scan module fixed to guide element, photoelectric converter module for converting the image to electric signals, and driver mechanism for driving scan module along the scan platform in longitudinal direction. Its advantages are constant focus depth, simple drive mechanism of scan module, and easy assembly.
