Abstract:
    The present invention provides a manually scanning device high in the degree of freedom for gripping. A manually scanning device includes a housing 12 for holding its components and has at least a storage part formed to store a battery in an upper part of this housing. The upper part includes a cover 34 which is detachably attached to the upper part and this cover 34 has an external size consisting of virtually curved lines so that it is fitted to human palm, fingers other than thumb and the inner side of the thumb.
