Abstract:
    The present invention provides a moving position detecting device, a rotation detecting means 11 detects rotation that is generated by friction force between the bottom 4 of a rotator 2 that has a pressing point applying gravity or load through a mechanism element to a position other than the center of the bottom in a rectangular direction with a shaft 1 as the center against the moving direction of a mouse and a floor 18 as the rotation quantity of a rotary encoder part 3 that rotates with the rotator 2 at the same time, an outputting means 12 which converts it into an output signal corresponding to the signal inputs it to a computer. The present invention is suitable to a mouse that is light in weight and is thin.
