Abstract:
    A USB component includes a PCBA set in a molded plastic cover structure to expose metal connecting points on the plug part of the cover structure and a metal plug jacket set on the cover structure to keep a preset clearance between an upper wall of the jacket and the metal connecting point, an IC of the USB controller set on a rather narrow part of the PCBA and below the metal connecting point to reduce the total length of USB component, in which, the metal connecting point jacket is molded on the protruding ear of the plug part of the cover or meshed to it, a selective fixed ring is used to fix the back edge of the jacket on the cover and a selective back cover is mounted on the back open-end of the cover to fix the back edge of the PCBA.
