Abstract:
     The abacus consists of side frame, retainer, bead rods, beads and battery. The side frame, the retainer and the bead rods are made of metal material. The side frame and the bead rods are connected to the negative of the battery whereas the retainer to the positive, and between the retainer and the side frame there is some insulating layer. When some beads contact with the metal retainer, they are bright. One bead consists of semi-transparent casing, metal bush, insulating bush, magnetic metal board and luminous body. The present invention has the advantages of that used beads are bright and easy to distinguish from spare beads and that there is no false toggling.
