Abstract:
     The standing umbrella capable of standing alone includes one umbrella body comprising hollow shaft and handle fixed at the first end of the shaft; and one standing machanism comprising upper runner, sliding component, lower runner and inversion holders around the shaft, each of which includes one main leg and one support leg. One end of the main leg is pivoted to lower runner and the other end is used as ground support. Umbrella cloth may be fitted to main legs of the standing machanism to collect rain water on umbrella covering and to prevent floor board from getting wet.
