Abstract:
     A method for automatically reparing BIOS features that a BIOS program contains a BIOS function program module, which is composed of a compression program, a detecting program for judging if a decompression error takes place, a repairing module which can automatically run start program if there is a decompression error, load the stand-by BIOS program from another medium, run the loaded BIOS program and reburning the BIOS memory if it runs successfully, and a comparing program for comparing their versions and storing the new version of BIOS program as standby one.
