Abstract:
    There is provided a text control method and apparatus. A predetermined format is defined in which an arbitrary one item of text data which, at least as an object to be printed, can be printed in one line, one paragraph formed by a plurality of lines, or a plurality of paragraphs, can be displayed in one line when the item of text data is set to an object to be displayed. L items, where L is an integer equal to or larger than 2, of text data are stored, according to the predetermined format, each of the L items being text data which can be printed in at least one line and can be set to an object to be processed independently.
