| An article of jewelry capable of delivering medication and adapted to absorb fluids while not adhering to any open wound inside a hole in a pierced flap of skin. Such a jewelry article comprises (a) an elongate shaft suitable for insertion through the pierced flap of skin. (b) The shaft has a hollow portion with an absorbent material therein for absorbing fluids. (c) A plurality of apertures extend transversely through the shaft to the absorbent material for passage of fluids between the exterior of the shaft and the absorbent material. (d) A pole piece is attached to one end of the shaft for abutting and covering one side of the pierced flap of skin. | |||
