A brilliant cut diamond has a colored portion formed by application of a coloring agent to a pyramid-shaped face of a pavilion thereof at and around a culet thereof. The quality of the brilliant cut of the diamond can be identified from an aspect of color when light internally reflected in the diamond is visually observed through a crown of the diamond. | |||
