Abstract:
     The buckle used for band has two jaw plates linked up with a pivot. The plates may be hold together with the fasteners which limit the first closed position of the buckle and the band may be fastened with the jaw plate (the band is located between them) which may be further closed at this time. The band turns over at the plate edge which is separated from the pivot. When the band is strained, a moment of force will be applied to the edge of plate and thereby the two jaw plates will be closed further and make the fastening action reliable. The teeth on one of the two jaw plates have a saw tooth-like outline and allow the band to move along a direction even though the buckle is closed. the two jaw plates each may be a cast of plastic material.
