Abstract:
     This invention discloses a unit for opening the base zipper at predetermined interval, which includes a drilling stand and a cutter to cooperate with each other for cutting off a section of engaged units from a pair of bearing band. The said cutter has a vertically movable punching head with more locating forks for engaging between adjacent units and keeping the base zipper at correct position on opening.
