Abstract:
     In floatation production of plate glass the melt glass flows through a notch and arrives on the tin liquid. The glass band is formed. This invention automatical regulation of glass fluid in float production. The edge signals of glass plate are detected by industrial TV and computer image processing. They are solutional and used to drive motor and regulate openning of sluicegate. So the width of glass band is kept constant and the lose which is presented because of excessive or insufficient width of glass band is prevented.
