Abstract:
    The invention relates to a valve for reducing the pressure on the primary side to a pre-determined pressure on the secondary side by changing the opening of a valve closure member using energy provided by the fluid itself. An operating member having a movable wall and an operating rod for transmitting the displacement of the wall to the valve closure member are interconnected by a substantially semi-spherical surface extending outwardly in a diametral direction from the piston rod or a curved wall having a plurality of interconnected curved surfaces.
